Quality Assurance Lead (Toronto)
As Chango’s QA Lead you will use both your strategic and tactical skill sets. You will apply your knowledge of automated and manual QA methodologies, best practices, tools and technologies, in an exciting agile development environment. In addition to your proven hands on experience, you will lead and mentor our QA Analysts.
Responsibilities:
- Create release test plans, track quality status and provide release recommendations
- Create and execute test plans, working closing with our Campaign Manager to champion the quality of our clients’ campaign goals
- Log defects and work closely with developers to investigate, troubleshoot and verify defect fixes
- Take initiative to recommend and implement quality process improvements
- Provide leadership, mentorship and direction to a team of several QA Analysts
- Escalate quality issues quickly and effectively
Skills/Experience/Qualifications:
- You have 4-6 years in software quality assurance, including white box and black box testing, with at least one year of leadership experience
- You have a computer science or engineering degree (or equivalent experience)
- You have experience/exposure to online advertising/search marketing with an understanding of CPM, CPC and CPA metrics
- Ideally you have experience using Selenium, Jenkins of similar continuous integration, experience
- Experience/exposure to Python is an asset
- You are an experienced user of test management tools such as TestLink
- Experience with one or more Internet ad management or, targeting marketing applications (e.g. DART, Atlas, Google AdWorks)
